SPL Co’s Story

SPL stands for Source, Procure, Logistics. That's the whole job, and it's where we started, because we kept watching the same thing happen: good design getting value-engineered out because procurement was expensive and slow.

The problem wasn't the products. It was the friction layers between the factory and the project. Retailers, distributors, consultants, software, agents, each one adding margin and time without adding much value.

So we went direct. We built relationships with manufacturers across Asia, learned how they work, and figured out how to get quality product to Australian projects without the markup.

Source, procure, logistics, handled end to end. That's what direct sourcing actually looks like in practice.

Who We Are

Georgia is a designer who got tired of watching good design get cut from projects before they even broke ground. She started SPL Co. to prove that cost and quality don't have to be a trade-off.

James came from the tech world and found his way into trade. He spends a lot of time in Asia - meeting suppliers in person, building real relationships, and making sure what gets specified actually gets delivered.

Both of us are nature people at heart. One day we'll be somewhere in the hinterland with more trees than meetings. For now, we're heads down.
